Riverbend Motorcoach Resort, FL

A short time before our arrival we were told that our original spot that we reserved was now unavailable.  They moved us to spot 293 and it was a great spot.  Close to the clubhouse, pool, pickleball and bark park! So many activities to enjoy at this park.  We downloaded the app and began to get in tune with all of the activities to enjoy each day.  When we arrived all of the outside patio furniture was in the coach house so we took it out and cleaned the coach house.  Beautiful spot!

Mini 1/8 Scale Car Racing

About 15 to 20 cars racing and competing for the number one spot at the end of the evening.  Each heat of 5 to 6 cars completed 8 laps.  Racing was so exciting with flips, jumps, speeding and crashes.  Such a fun night complete with hamburgers and hot dogs to enjoy in the grandstands during the race.

Good friends visited. Happy Birthday Todd and Rosie!

We enjoyed so many activities and events at Riverbend!

The people were all so friendly and welcoming.  We enjoyed pickleball, BINGO, blindfolded golf cart racing, watching model train racing, live music, dancing, water volleyball and pool days. Rosie loved her daily trip to the Bark Park to play with other dogs for Yappy Hour at 4. To top off and finish our time at Riverbend, Todd earned court 1 for the final pickleball tournament.

Day trip to Lighthouse Beach in Sanibel with Rosie

The drive to the beach was so beautiful.  There were a couple of small beaches along part of the highway which we thought was so pretty.  We stopped on the way to the beach and picked up sandwiches from a deli for lunch.  We enjoyed our lunch and some time at the beach.  Rosie was disappointed there weren't any rocks to hunt like in Lake Huron.

Caloosahatchee Regional Park Bike Ride

This park offers nearly 12 miles of single track mountain bike trails.  It was a diverse terrain from flat, fast sections to challenging root infested and rocky areas.  There was a mix of wooded areas, sugar sand, scenic, tight turns and natural canopies.  We rode the first green section of the park together and then Todd did the more advanced section.

Babcock Ranch Eco Tour

We rode in a windowless bus to see wildlife in nature - alligator, deer, cows, sandhill cranes, horses, blue heron and raccoon.  Fun to experience with friends!
