This park is a popular destination known for its spring which is a manatee refuge.  The manatee come in to the spring to escape the cold and come to warmer water.  We didn't see any manatee when we were there because the temperature was a bit warmer.  We enjoyed hiking, biking, and walking on the boardwalk by the spring.
