This park is in Beaufort County.  The park offers diverse coastal experiences along the Pamlico River.  There are wetlands, cypress swamps and beaches.  We enjoyed viewing wildlife like turtle, bald eagles, various birds and deer. We had a treat of seeing multiple bald eagles.
